Students are encouraged to explore post graduation alternatives by gathering as much information as possible about post
high school institutions of higher learning. A visit to the instiution that a student is seriously considering attending after
high school is one of the most valuable means of gathering data necessary to make an informed decision regarding post
high school plans.
To ensure a positive experience all post high school visits must have prior approval at least one day before the visit.
Prior approval may be obtained through the Senior High Guidance Office. "Post High School Visitation Forms" are available
from the senior high guidance counselor. This form must be completed and returned to the senior high guidance counselor by
any student requesting to be excused from school for a post high school visit. Without this prior approval a student's absence
from school can be classified as "UNEXCUSED".
